Gay and Mike met by chance 10 years ago when Mike joined the Chariots of Fire driving yard as their business manager, they have been very close friends ever since.
With their joint retail history, in 2008 they started searching for a business. Having looked at various concerns Country Harvest was the outstanding business that met all their needs.
They took the retail side of Country Harvest over on 1st August 2008 and the Coffee Shop soon after in November of that year. Inheriting an extremely loyal and hard working staff – some of whom have been with Country Harvest from its inception – there was an opportunity for Gay & Mike to develop their individual styles to create a relaxed shopping experience, giving value for money with a friendly and helpful service.
